This Privacy Policy sets out how I handle, store and protect any personal information that you give to OhMyDog.
OhMyDog is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should I ask you to provide any information by which you can be identified you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Please be aware that I may change this privacy policy from time to time, any updates will be detailed on this website, which should be checked occasionally to ensure you are up to date and happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 25th May 2018.
What sort of personal data will I collect?

If you request a quotation I will process contact information and details of the service to be provided

If you request a service from OhMyDog I will only require the information and personal data specified on the initial information form. This form will be relevant to the requested service. Personal data can include your name, address, phone number and email address.

Your social media username, if you interact with me through those channels, to help me respond to your comments, questions or feedback.
How your data is stored?
I know how much data security matters to all my customers. With this in mind I will treat your data with the utmost care and take all appropriate steps to protect it.
Access to your personal data is password protected when held in cloud-based software or secured in a locked filing cabinet.
The systems used for processing and storing your data are password protected and encrypted (please see their own privacy statements by using the links below).
Any keys used to access properties are labelled in a coded manner without any personal information.
What is done with the information gathered?
I require this information to better understand your needs and to be able to provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

Consent
In specific situations, I will collect and process your data with your consent in order to effectively provide the service you require.
When collecting your personal data, I will only collect data considered necessary for the service you need. I will always it make clear to you which data is necessary in connection with a particular service so you can give informed consent. As a customer you have the right to have access to any personal information I hold about you.
In regards to giving consent for information already collected there is nothing you need to do right now.
Your right to withdraw consent
Whenever you have given me your consent to use your personal data, you have the right to change your mind at any time and withdraw that consent however I will still be required to hold your information for 5 years if you have used our services and I have invoiced you.
Contractual obligations
In certain circumstances, I will need your personal data to comply with the contractual obligations to provide a service.
Legal compliance
If the law requires me to, I may need to collect and process your data.
Legitimate interest
In specific situations, I may require your data to pursue legitimate interests in a way which might be reasonably expected as part of running my business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests.
How long will I keep your personal data?
Whenever I collect or process your personal data, I will only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
At the end of that retention period, your data will either be deleted completely or anonymised.

Communication, engagement and actions taken through external social media platforms that OhMyDog participate on are custom to the terms and conditions as well as the privacy policies held with each social media platform respectively.
